The Brixton Reel Film Festival is an annual event dedicated to working with diverse local communities. We show the best new films and arts, and along the way explore positive images of mental well-being and self empowerment.
The pioneering film festival celebrating community wellbeing returns to Lambeth with exciting, feel-good FREE events to cheer up November, these include Urban Wotever - a dedicated Black LGBT performance event on Tuesday 10th November at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern. Saturday 14th has a special free screening and Q&A of the African-Caribbean focused feature Looking for Love (2015) at Karibu Centre, Brixton. On Sunday 15th we turn up the heat with a Latin American event and screening of salsa dance movie Ciudad Delirio in Spanish with English subtitles at the Cinema Museum in Elephant & Castle.
